I just wanted to tell you that we love our baby ktan! We found it at Target and at first I wasn't sure if I liked it. But after watching the videos on the website, I realized I wasn't using it correctly. Now our little one, Ajah(asia), loves it. She loves the explorer and hug postions right now and since she is already 16 lbs and only 3mths old, it enables me to carry her more. I know we will be ordering one for her dad to use and I'm sure I will need to order more before she outgrows it, since we use it so much.

When I became pregnant with my fourth child, I went to Peppermint Place in Plano where I was able to try on so many baby wearing products. The best one really was the Baby K'tan. It was easy on my back and so comfortable to wear. It was not confusing to put on. I was ecstatic that I had no trouble at all slipping into the Baby K'tan and getting the baby into and out of it with the three children nearby. Best of all, the baby loved being in it!! Now, I cannot go anywhere without the Baby K'tan. I wear my baby at church, at the grocery store, at the mall, when I help out at the kids' school or just for a walk around the block. I never thought of myself as a "babywearing mom" but now I am proud to be one. I cannot believe I had three children without the K'tan!! I recommend that all mothers try out the Baby K'tan along with other baby wearing devices on the market and I promise the Baby K'tan will be what she needs.

I ordered this baby sling the other day! I love it! It is called a Baby K’tan. It is made of soft cotton. It never hurts my shoulders because I can spread the fabric down all the way around my shoulder (the shoulder straps are actually supposed to go over her shoulders as well, I am not sure why they aren't over her shoulders in these pics). Hudsyn loves it, she can go from being very mellow in her swing to ecstatic when I put her in it. She kicks her arms and feet and squawks in excitement. I had to take her out of the gym at a talent show at K's school because she was so excited. If you are looking for a way to carry your baby and still get things accomplished this is the way to go!

Well I have a herniated disc and suffer from sciatica. Having this has helped me tremendously when carrying my baby around. Also I choose the baby ktan before the stroller anytime as I can fit into any crowded area without having to wait for people to move (especially when going through art galleries, fairs, etc). As Dante has grown, the positions have changed and he enjoys everyone of them according to the stage he's in. As a newborn, the cradle was his favorite but as soon as he could hold his head up, the adventure has been a hit. My new favorite is the hip position as he can be close and still look around.

This is the third carrier I have purchased and I am happy to say I will never purchase anything other than the baby K'tan. It is amazing. I used a sling with my first baby, who is now 2, and it always made he and I really warm and he would often sweat in it. It also had annoying rings that I could never quite get in the right position. I LOVE the soft breathable cotton of my baby K'tan. When I place him in the cradle position he falls right asleep. He hates his car seat so the baby K'tan is a life saver for shopping and also for wearing him while I push my 2 year old in the stroller. I have some fun pictures of the baby k'tan I got! I went to my friend Becky's house and tried it out on her baby. Lilly is 6 months old and I thought it would let me see if the size is right. Hello! I just received my baby k'tan tonight, and I put my son in it, and was completely amazed at how comfortable and simple it is. I will have to use it a couple of times to get down my favorite positions, but I love it. My son slept two hours in the explorer position. This will be great on our trip on the plane and while traveling. I am so pleased and excited...it was worth every dime! Jacob now loves his K'tan! I bought the Baby K'tan because I had wanted a sling, and the one I had ordered (The Peanut Shell) was not versatile enough to fit a woman with a larger bust. Unfortunately, I hadn't read that review prior to purchasing it... I had seen the pics for Baby K'tan on Amazon.com, but because I had seen someone wearing the sash with it, I thought it was something that depended on knots to make it work. I knew I didn't want to rely on my knots to keep my baby safe, so didn't even read the description. I sent an email through Baby K'tan's website (http://www.babyktan.com/index.html)and found out what size they recommended for me, then ordered one. I tried Jacob in it at two weeks, and he didn't like it--too much fabric around his head. I then tried it this morning because he is able to hold his head up better, and so I could arrange the fabric differently. He loved it! He fell asleep in it and protested when I went to put him in bed. He is two months old now and weighs almost 13 lbs. I know he will get quite a lot of use out of it from now on! We are new parents to twins, and I purchased this sling because of the ability to actually have two newborns in here it once. It does work! More often than not, I only have one baby in at a time though. At first my husband was dubious, but once he realized that a fussy baby calms down in moments he is a believer. We actually ended up ordering a second one, and we often each wear a baby while going about household chores, or to calm them down after middle of the night feedings. I haven't used any other sling, so cannot compare it to others, but I would definitely recommend the Baby K'tan!

I've tried just about all of the other baby carriers and slings out there. My daughter would not tolerate staying in any of them for more than 10 minutes until I brought home the Baby K'tan. After spending all of the money I had before on the other carriers I was hesitant to buy it but I'm so glad I did! My daughter absolutely loves being in the Baby K'tan. We've gone on walks and doing things around the house and we are up to 1 and 1/2 hours in the K'tan. She loves the Adventurer position and is so interested in everything around her. I should mention that she is 4 months old now and very wiggly! The K'tan keeps her secure and it is also comfortable for me to wear. (I found that the Baby Bjorn pulled my chest down. I'm large chested and it was not comfortable.) I hope this helps someone when choosing a carrier or sling. I wish I would have talked to someone that had a Baby K'tan before spending all of the money I did on the other slings.

As a mom of a very active four year boy and a 3 month old girl, it's hard enough just getting out of the house. Not so anymore! Now, I just slip her into her soft, comfortable carrier, and she's content for as long as she's in it. I can go grocery shopping again without a baby crying the entire time, and my hands are actually free to pick up the items I need! We've even gone on long nature hikes, and she doesn't make a peep (except for the occasional happy coo), she just enjoys looking around her. I just wanted to write you and let you know your product is really great. I wish I had had it for my first two kids. My second child was born with physical problems and I sure could of used it. I ended up in physical therapy from carrying her around all the time, I messed up my back, chest and neck. My third was so tiny and would have fallen through the legs of any other carrier. I tried another sling and she was lost in it, and the fabric was so heavy on her little body. Then I got yours and it changed our lives. I carried Shira on me all the time in the sling position and even walked around, did household things while nursing her in the sling position. Even now at 7 months and almost 16 pounds I know that when I can't calm her from teething, or if she is overtired, I put her in the Baby K'tan in the front position, facing my chest and she calms down and goes to sleep. It is so easy to take her out and put her in her crib without waking her. I love how easy it is to put on and get off, how light it is, that I can throw it in the wash, that I can go shopping with her in it, I can hold her and put it on at the same time. People stop me all the time and ask me about it. I always tell them it is the best baby product I have. I am in marketing, and do print and web design, so I know good products and yours is fabulous. I am a mom of three young children and this baby carrier is a must! This is the best carrier that I've tried! I used to have a sling (too hard on the shoulders), a wrap ( great, but putting it on is annoying, especially when a crying baby is waiting to be held, the baby ktan has the same benefits without the hassle), and the baby Bjorn (kills the shoulders over a short period, more uncomfortable, and not the same closeness with your baby)....You can nurse in public discreetly. I've even done my holiday shopping with a two week old without having to stop and sit to nurse. No one can even tell, especially if you have a nursing shirt on too! Every mother needs an extra pair of hands- the baby ktan is just that- your hands are free so you can do what you need to, and your baby is being held and happy!

Baby K'Tan - MY FAVORITE. This one is fabulous. It has straps to go over both shoulders to equalize the weight. It is 100% cotton, so it's nice and stretchy and obviously adjustable somewhat. You can also wear it like 8 different ways. Davie really seems comfortable in this one, and it's definitely more comfy for me.

As a pediatrician, I have always appreciated the health benefits of �wearing� your baby, but never found a sling that I felt was sufficiently secure until I discovered the Baby K�tan. Hi. I came across your product b/c of an article online. I was interested in it b/c of the fact that one of the inventors had a child with Down syndrome. I have a one yr old with DS and several of us in the DS community have wrestled with the same thing (how to carry appropriately for the hips),I applaud you for creating this unique carrier.
