Baby K'tan stands behind the quality of all Baby K'tan products. The Baby K'tan Baby Carrier and any Baby K'tan gear products have a lifetime warranty and Baby K'tan will replace any product, if found defective in material workmanship.

If you have a defective item, please contact info@babyktan.com and provide in writing a description of the defect, as well as digital pictures as evidence, including Model #, PO #, and Manufacture Date (On our Baby Carrier, the tag is located on smaller loop that connects the two larger loops), along with an original receipt with the date of purchase. At that time, Baby K'tan, LLC will evaluate each individual situation. If it is a true defect, we will provide you with an RMA number. Please do not send us anything without an RMA number.

No warranty is expressed or implied regarding damage resulting from alterations, consumer misuse or neglect, or for any consequential damages arising out of the use of such products. Baby K'tan, LLC reserves the right to inspect defective carriers before exchanging or refunding.

If a product is purchased on Amazon, Walmart or any 3rd party marketplace, all warranties are null and void unless the product was purchased from Amazon or Walmart directly, or from authorized 3rd party retailers of Baby K'tan.

The Baby K'tan is designed in the USA and manufactured in China and Guatemala. Both factories comply with all local regulations for wages, healthcare and working conditions and have been inspected and compliant on all issues regarding workers' rights. We also ensure our factories have been inspected and approved by Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services Division

The Baby K'tan Baby Carrier is carefully tested and meets the following ASTM and Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) standards and requirements:  

• The requirements of 16 CFR 1228, "Safety Standard for Sling Carriers"  
• The requirements of ASTM F2907-22 "Consumer Safety Specification for Sling Carriers"  
• The flammability requirement of Canada Textile Flammability Regulations, SOR/2011-22, section 4 - Products  
• The flammability requirements of 16 CFR 1500.44(4)(c).   
• European standards BS-EN 13209 PART 2:2005  
• Meets CA Prop 65 limits, no label is required  
• Baby K'tan Baby Carriers abide by to the strictest textile standards: Baby K'tan, LLC uses 100% natural cotton (cotton seal) free of harmful chemicals, formaldehydes and azo dyes in all its cotton carriers. The Baby K'tan Organic Carrier line uses GOTS certified cotton. Baby K'tan Baby Carriers have been tested for the EU AZO Colorants Directive 2002/61/EC which bans the use of Azo dyes in dyestuffs.
